About Our Founder

At the heart of Stories Web is its founder; Rachita Vaidya is a writer, curator, and lifelong student of literature. Her journey into the world of letters did not follow a conventional path; in her late thirties, she made the bold decision to return to academia, pursuing a Master’s degree in Literature without any formal background in the field. What began as an act of courage soon became a calling. She is now continuing that journey as a doctoral researcher, deepening her engagement with stories, language, and meaning.

Writing, for her, has always been both refuge and revelation — an evolving dialogue between self and society. Through Stories Web, she extends that dialogue outward, creating a space where voices, emerging and established, can coexist, be heard, and be held with care.

Her work is rooted in sensitivity, reflection, and an enduring curiosity about people and their stories. This platform is not just a showcase, but an invitation: to read, to write, and to belong.
